Vestry Hall

Vestry Hall, Pennywell Road, Old Market

City Centre Living

24 high quality one and two bedroom apartments

Built in 1880 as a leisure and sports centre for the local girls in Easton, Vestry Hall was developed on the site of the first workhouse in England. In 1909 it was converted into a cinema and became known as the most 'unruly' Picture Hall in Bristol until it closed down in the 1950's.

Urbis Development has acquired this historic building with planning permission to refurbish and convert it into 24 high quality one and two bedroom apartments. The scheme includes six apartments with their own private terrace and six duplex apartments with roof-level balconies. The building will retain much of its existing character with many of the external stone features and impressive arch windows being restored to their former glory. Conveniently located, close to the new Cabot Circus development its location gives great access to those who enjoy city centre living but prefer a bit of peace and quiet.
